If you've finished XI and are looking for another one to play, I suggest going through III-IX.
Dragon Warrior (Quest) III for the NES looks great for an NES game, but this version looks even better than DQ VI and WAY better than DQ V.
It's the same version of the game that came out on GBC, but it looks SO MUCH BETTER. Now they have, and the one I'm playing is quite good (it's the one on Vimm's Lair). I always wanted to play this version when I was younger, but none of the fan translations had been completed yet. I've been playing XI, but I've been missing the classic games too. It's my favorite classic Dragon Quest game.
